The Bill seeks to repeal the National Economic Intelligence Committee (establishment, etc) Act Cap N31 Laws of The Federation of Nigeria 2004 to give effect to the recommendation of the Presidential Committee on Restructuring and Rationalization of Federal Government Parastatals, Commissions and Agencies to dissolve or merge Agencies with overlapping/duplicating functions to reduce the cost of governance.
