The motion sought to ask the Senate to mandate its Committees on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions, Capital Market and Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters to conduct a public hearing into the ban of cryptocurrency in Nigeria by the Central Bank of Nigeria and make recommendations to the Senate on the way forward.
